Hailing from Bonn, Beethoven defied the onset of deafness by composing monumental music ahead of his time. Micah Sandt in the role of Beethoven's assistant Ferdinand Ries affords us a gripping account of the legendary composer’s intimate life and music. CCOHK performs Beethoven’s most impactful symphonies while Yoonie Han takes to the stage as the secret inspiration behind the great composer's most impassioned piano works.
The Bonn Man is based on a script by Leanne Nicholls.

貝多芬的故事
貝多芬，一個來自波恩的人，憑其超前及別樹一幟的音樂創作，戰勝日漸失聰的困境，奮力前行。《波恩英雄》是一齣以貝多芬的助手費迪南‧賴斯為主角的音樂戲劇，由孫麥凱飾演賴斯，娓娓道出貝多芬這位不朽作曲家的感人一生。香港城巿室樂團將會傾力演奏貝多芬最動人心魄的交響樂，韓侖廷則粉墨登場，展示誰是這位音樂巨匠那些充滿熱情的鋼琴作品背後的靈感女神。
《波恩英雄》由黎燕欣創作劇本。
