Rita AuRita Au, clarinet

Rita Au Shuk-yee received her Bachelor of Music degree with first class honours in clarinet performance from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2006 and her Master of Music degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, USA in 2008. Her teachers included Eli Eban and Howard Klug. On return to Hong Kong she has performed frequently with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, the Hong Kong Sinfonietta and the Macau Orchestra and has also played in numerous musicals and operas. Since 2014 she has performed with the woodwind quintet Viva!Pipers in concerts and educational projects presented by Premiere Performances of Hong Kong. Rita Au Shuk-yee is currently a member of City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong and enjoys a dual career as both a performer and a clarinet teacher.
